dry season and high temperatures Rainfall is usually lighter along the
cosat, increasing proportionally as it moves further inland and altitude
increasesLowlands whit a dry season: Most of the Guanacaste Province and
some of Puntarenas have high Temperatures and a long dry season.Temperatute
Climate: Areas located between 1,000 and 1,500 meters (3,000-5,000 feet)
above sea Level such as the Central Valley, have defined dry seasons and
the most comfortable of the climates.Mountain Climate: Any area at an
altitude higher than 1,500 meters (5,000 feet) has cooler temperatures.
At altitudes over 3,000 meters (10,000 feet)It even reaches the freezing
Point. The weather is
usually humid, with occasional fog frost.The rainy season spans from late
April to November , while the dry season usually runs from December to
early April. Average year-round temperatures are in the low 70s ( 22 degrees
centigrade).

best places for bird watching are Braulio Carrillo National Park and its
surroundings, Monteverde, Talamanca, and the Osa Peninsula.

of the turtles to lay their eggs in the soft sand of the beaches. Guided
